What happens if I have to cancel?
If it is more than 60 days before activity, you only pay the deposit of 1500 SEK. Read the booking conditions here här

I am allergic or have special food needs, can I join?
– Absolutely, write in the booking or in separate mail so we take your conditions into account.

I don’t have equipment, what should I do?
– I always recommend Outdoorbuddies to rent equipment, they have a good selection. I also live next door to them and can therefore help with logistics and other mediation if needed. If you want to buy equipment, I am available for consultation and advice!

I’m not sure if I’m properly prepared, or don’t know what trip would be best.
– Under each activity there is a short description for whom the activity is adapted for, where you get a rough understanding, but it is perfectly understandable if it feels messy. If you have specific questions, you are welcome to contact us by e-mail, or:
– Book an appointment for consultation and we will look at the appropriate activity for your needs, we try to be flexible and adaptable to our common goals, everyone should feel welcome!

What happens if the weather is bad in luck or ahead of a trip?
If the weather is so bad that it risks our security, we primarily change the route to better alternatives or adjust timeframes etc. However, weather is part of staying in the mountains so this is something you need to take into account. The last resort is cancellation of the trip but it would take a lot. In that case, it will be rescheduled to another date after dialogue with you.

Can I book a private tour? (1-2 guests)

What happens if I miss the start time of the tour?
– This depends entirely on what activity it is but it is the guest’s responsibility to arrive on time and we can not wait so no refund can be made. But let us know well in advance and we will try to solve it as best we can.

Day 1

Directly out of the bus, you get off at STF Storulvåns mountain station. Here we meet for presentations, intro and briefing of what will be an amazing experience! We go through the packs, pulks and ski equipment, make sure that everything feels in balance and with that done we head out in the snow! Our first stage is just right to get a feel for the winter, the snow and skis properly, it will not be long before we are up on the mountainplaetus and have a view all the way to Sylarna. Up here it is white, open and wide!

We cross the mountain towards Ulvåtjärn, where we will spend the night under the snow! You will learn how to build a safe, stable, spacious, quiet and WARM bivouac! The tents we set up as backup, and after dinner we have cooked in our own home-built, windproof kitchen awaits an incredibly cozy night completely isolated from the weather.

Day 2

Today we continue to build on our bivuoacks, but today’s structure is flexible and the options are many! If we are lucky with the weather, we could do a great daytrip in the area, and if it should be full snowstorm we also have a windshelter to bunk up in for a lessen in Avalanche skills and mountain safety! Today you will take great leaps in your confidence on the mountains and security during the tour! For the night, of course, you can sleep in your bivouac that is now bigger, stronger and more beautiful! But your tent is of course available should you prefer.

Day 3

After breakfast, we deal with tearing down our bivouacs. Then it’s time to put on our pulks and move on up towards Blåhammarens Fjällstation. Blåhammaren is incredibly beautifully situated high up on the mountain overlooking all directions. From here you can see all the way to Sylarna and Helags. On the way there we practice navigation, touring technique and mountain safety. If we find running water, you will also learn the safest way to fill up! Many ascents later when we are finally there, warm stove, clean blankets and drying rooms are waiting for everything that may have become damp in the bivouac construction! We eat our own dinner and during the evening you will learn about the Sami culture, the reindeer husbandry and the fascinating history behind this landscape, tourism and the current situation in an ever changing area of interest.

Day 4

Dry, warm and satisfied after breakfast we ski away from the marked trails and cross mountains where you get to immerse yourself in the map and compass, Today we have almost only downhill and flat terrain to look forward to! Here we will have a good opportunity to practice safety when we get down, and you will build more expertise on the nordic skis. Once down and after a lunch we arrive at Rundhögen, the final station for the expedition and here we are met by transport back to Duved. From here goes the night train and here, after feedback, evaluation and reflection of our adventure, we say thank you for this time and on to our next adventures!

This trip suits beginners as well as more experienced, who long for adventure and who want to learn more about the mountains and grow as a person and as an independent adventurer. You need to be able to walk in varied terrain and be able to handle some elevation gain over a few days of skiing with pulk. No other special skills are needed. But if you want a customized training plan for preparatory purposes, you are welcome to contact me about it.

Getting to the start: (STF Storulvån)
The easiest option is train or bus to Åre/Duved,
then by bus company Wänseth bus, to Storulvån.
