What happens if I have to cancel?
If it is more than 60 days before activity, you only pay the deposit of 1500 SEK. Read the booking conditions here här

I am allergic or have special food needs, can I join?
– Absolutely, write in the booking or in separate mail so we take your conditions into account.

I don’t have equipment, what should I do?
– I always recommend Outdoorbuddies to rent equipment, they have a good selection. I also live next door to them and can therefore help with logistics and other mediation if needed. If you want to buy equipment, I am available for consultation and advice!

I’m not sure if I’m properly prepared, or don’t know what trip would be best.
– Under each activity there is a short description for whom the activity is adapted for, where you get a rough understanding, but it is perfectly understandable if it feels messy. If you have specific questions, you are welcome to contact us by e-mail, or:
– Book an appointment for consultation and we will look at the appropriate activity for your needs, we try to be flexible and adaptable to our common goals, everyone should feel welcome!

What happens if the weather is bad in luck or ahead of a trip?
If the weather is so bad that it risks our security, we primarily change the route to better alternatives or adjust timeframes etc. However, weather is part of staying in the mountains so this is something you need to take into account. The last resort is cancellation of the trip but it would take a lot. In that case, it will be rescheduled to another date after dialogue with you.

Can I book a private tour? (1-2 guests)
– Absolutely! Write to info@fjallkloka.se for a quote.

What happens if I miss the start time of the tour?
– This depends entirely on what activity it is but it is the guest’s responsibility to arrive on time and we can not wait so no refund can be made. But let us know well in advance and we will try to solve it as best we can.

Before trip

Online meeting for the tour that takes place at the end of May.

I recommend Fjällnäs camping for the night before departure. If you arrive in Fjällnäs by bus, it is great to camp at the campsite where we will also start from. It is possible to book at https://fjallnascamping.se/ But it is also possible with drop in. You are camping on a large spacious lawn. There is also access to service building with shower, kitchen and small shop. Tent accomodation at the campsite costs 200 SEK.

Day 1

We meet at 08.00 at Fjällnäs camping, have presentations and a lighter review of the tour. Then we head straight out on the trail north and take aim at Klinken. We quickly come up through beautiful birch forests to a rolling landscape at the tree line with small streams and a few mountain birches. Then we are in open mountain landscapes and have a good view in all directions all the way to the Norway mountains, and Helags we can already see on the horizon. We pass a couple of wind shelters before we get down to the valley where Klinken is located. An old homestead that in its day was planned much larger where we can see old preserved buildings together with very beautiful birch forest. Great chance to see bigger reindeer herds in this area this time of year as well. On the other side of the valley we have an incredibly nice waterfall and just past it we roll over to the other side and camp for the night just at the tree line.

Day 2

We get up early and after a little morning meeting and breakfast we head further north, this day is 100% over open mountains and we really get the first parquet to Skarsfjället and Helags when we pass the nice Fältjägarstugan where we might have lunch. Here we will also practice triangulating with a map & compass. We are then aiming to get around Helags to set up the tents near the mountain station.

Dag 3

Morning meeting per routine and after breakfast we take a compass heading towards Sylarna and say goodbye to Helags that we will continue to be able to see all day behind us. The landscape here is barren with mountainheather, small streams and rock formations where Fjällglim is in high bloom this time of year. At lunchtime we are around the wind shelter at Miesehketjahkke and there we also take the opportunity to have some storytime on the subject to stay out by yourself for longer periods. We then continue the straight track to Sylarna and if we are lucky with the weather, we also have really nice tent spot nearby.

Day 4

We thank Sylarna, take some nice pictures in the morning light and after being sure that everyone’s feet are fine, we continue towards the final destination Storulvån! Not far into the morning, we get past Gamla Sylen, a place with both memories and history. During the morning we will summarize what we learned during the tour and before we get to the finish, it is offered a surprise. Once there, we end with midsummer celebrations at the station, have some evaluation, information and then hugs and goodbye. The bus runs from the mountainstation to Duved / Åre at 17:30, and the Night Train from Duved at 19.03
